Vikas Gautam is a New Delhi–based professional saxophonist and flutist with more than 30 years of experience and over 3,300 live shows performed across India and the world.
His journey spans the full breadth of a working musician's life: long-running band residencies at the Hyatt Regency, Intercontinental and The Claridges; diplomatic evenings at the US Embassy and the residence of the British High Commissioner in New Delhi; corporate stages for companies and event agencies; wedding celebrations; and studio work as a composer and music director for albums and advertisements.
A practitioner of jazz, Bollywood, Hindustani classical and fusion styles, he leads Indo-Jazz and fusion ensembles and has spent over 20 years teaching the next generation of saxophonists and flutists - online and across Delhi NCR.
